Successfully Speaking is located in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area and was founded by Lynda Katz Wilner, a Communication and Soft Skills Specialist and Maryland Licensed and nationally certified Speech and Language Pathologist. Lynda speaks about Professional Development and Soft Skills with a focus on Communication. She collaborates with other professionals in the soft skills arena to bring comprehensive training to the workplace.

Lynda is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association. She is also a Preferred Trainer with LDS & Associates providing professional training in Accented Speech and is certified by the Institute of Language to conduct training with the Compton P-ESL program. In 2006, Lynda and her colleague, Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker, formed a joint venture, ESL RULES, to present workshops and produce and distribute their unique training materials for accent modification and communication training.

Lynda is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and has been working with clients for over 35 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Michigan. She is a member of ASHA (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association), the National Speakers Association (NSA), and Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA). 

Successfully Speaking provides professional development training in communication for individuals and groups. Lynda has worked with major hospital systems, corporations, technology firms, research laboratories, small businesses, and the clergy. She developed her own unique and comprehensive training program for accent modification with the medical profession (Medically Speaking: Accent Modification for the Medical Profession, The Medically Speaking Inventory) and she has collaborated with her colleague, Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker, to publish RULES, RULES BY THE SOUND, RULES to Go, RULES on the Run, Medically Speaking Idioms, and Medically Speaking RULES, an innovative, comprehensive, cutting-edge approach to accent modification and pronunciation designed for intermediate to advanced English speakers. The Pronunciation Screening Tool and Boston RULES are part of their product line.

Lynda was an Adjunct Faculty member at the Community College of Baltimore County where she taught international allied health students.

Lynda combines an excellent ability to communicate, an understanding of individual communication concerns and their impact, knowledge of techniques and strategies to address these issues, and an enthusiasm to help individuals from diverse backgrounds achieve excellence in communication.
