Lynda Katz Wilner and Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker presented “Improving Communication Skills in Healthcare” to the IMIA Trainers Symposium in Raleigh, NC on September 8th, 2013.
Lynda Katz Wilner and Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker presented a poster session at the ASHA 2012 Convention in Atlanta on November 16th entitled, “Improving Communication Skills of International Medical Professionals Through Conversational Scripts.”
Lynda Katz Wilner and Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker presented “Communication Excellence for the Medical Interpreter” at the IMIA Conference on January 18-20, 2013. They also sponsored an exhibit table and their new product, “The Pronunciation Screening Tool (PST)” .
Lynda and Marjorie attended the 2012 TESOL Convention in Philadelphia, PA at the end of March. They exhibited their products, including the new RULES to Go Trainer’s kit and RULES BY THE SOUND online platform which was extremely well-received by visitors to their booth. They also presented, “Online Stories to Address Pronunciation, Stress, Intonation, and Grammar,” and had a poster session at the ESP-IS Academic Session for English for Medical Purposes and participated in a panel discussion on the topic.

Marjorie Feinstein-Whittaker and Lynda Katz Wilner presented a one-day workshop for research and clinical faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on August 21, 2009.
